Childhood....

Remember Elastics?!  My memories take me back to my school courtyard in the days where we were vying for the title of "Elastics champion of the universe!"  I think I ended by being about 4th in the courtyard that day.  Pretty good for a grade 5er....

Yummiest Chocolate Slice Recipe

Just found the most fabulously easy and yummy recipe to calm the chocolate cravings!!!  Ours is currently cooking in the oven.  I can't wait!....  The dough tasted divine!!

We found the really simple and easy recipe online.

It's called Kate's Yummy Chocolate Slice.  Thanks Kate!!


2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut
1 1/2 cups SR flour
teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
125 grams melted butter.
plus extra coconut to sprinkle on the icing.
How to:
Mix everything together well with a large spoon.  Cook in a moderate oven for approximately 20 minutes.
Ice when cool and sprinkle with coconut.

A great cause....

We have been contacted by four fabulous women who have gotten together to organise a wonderful new and used Book and Baby market, February 18th in Berowra. All proceeds are to be donated to the Fred Hollows Foundation, who not only give those in need, eyesight, but also the opportunity to a "normal" life of purpose and participation in their communities.
